Sang Hoon Degeimbre

At a young age, he wanted to be a pharmacist but his love for food guided him into the culinary world. He worked as a sommelier in different famous restaurants in Belgium, but before opening his own restaurant in 1997 he had never cooked.
After 2 years, he won a first Michelin star and a second one in 2007. On the 15th anniversary, the restaurant moved to a large farm in the middle of the countryside. Next to the restaurant, there is a big garden with more than 300 species of plants. His love for modernity, the use of the best local products and an understanding of the new culinary techniques, as well as his Korean roots define his style.
