Csaba HARMATH is a former economist who managed to make his hobby his everyday job. Currently he is a consultant to several restaurants around Hungary such as the 2017 GaultMillau Restaurant of the Year Gusteau in Mád, an establishment that he designed from scratch and built up in all its detail. He started as a consultant to La Parrilla a year ago as a consultant and eventually moved to become director of the restaurant, carrying out a complete rehaul in both its restaurant design, menu and style of dishes under the new name of “enjoy! by La Parrilla”.
He is an anonymous food critic and food writer for BBC GoodFood Hungary, all his recipes can be found online. He is also a radio and TV presenter of gastronomic programs. He is a member of Bocuse d’Or Academy and Pannon Gastronomic Academy, a consultative agency of the Hungarian Government in matters of gastronomy.
