The restaurant’s name, which means “salt” in ancient Greek, is a tribute to the basic but essential seasoning that forms the basis of Greek cooking and a fitting reference to the restaurant’s philosophy of staying true to the traditional flavours of this ancient civilisation.

With a commitment to quality and authenticity, Co-founder and General Manager Leong Khai Git works closely with fishermen and artisanal producers in Greece to bring in the freshest catch and highest quality ingredients. Athens-native Executive Chef Ioannis Stefanopoulos brings to life the flavours of his native Greece.
