Mitch is the global winner of the S.PellegrinoYoung Chef 2016 competition. He had humble beginnings in his culinary career and was never formally trained as a chef. At the age of thirteen, he had started off washing dishes in a small Italian restaurant. Bit by bit, he rose through the ranks by working his way up the culinary ladder.
He currently works in 3-Michelin Star restaurant Manresa in California under acclaimed chef, David Kinch. Manresa is under the Relais & Chateaux property and was named one of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants by Restaurant Magazine. The restaurant serves contemporary California cuisine with French and modern Catalan influence.
