Omar Gabriele Bernardi
Bringing with him a considerable amount of passion and culinary experience, Chef Omar Bernardi joins Mandarin Oriental, Singapore in June 2014.
During Chef Bernardi’s career that spans over a decade, he has garnered experience in both local and overseas dining establishments. He started working in some of the top Italian restaurants, including two-Michelin-starred San Domenico Ristorante, following his graduation from the Institute of Hospitality. He subsequently moved on to work in one-Michelin-starred restaurants, such as La Terezza dell’Eden, il Sole de Ranco and La Rucola, before moving to Singapore in 2011.
.Prior to coming on board as Chef de Cuisine at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore’s famed Italian restaurant, Dolce Vita, Chef Bernardi was in charge of il Cielo Restaurant and Bar as Chef de Cuisine. He was also responsible in the efficient running of kitchen operations in Procacci Singapore in 2011.
