The World Gourmet Summit (WGS) has often been lauded as one of the foremost epicurean event in Asia. Spanning a six-year history, it has left a luminous imprint on the atlas of the gourmet world.

However much has been lamented where the duration of this most delicious event is concerned. Visitors have been quick to point out that given the tempting array of programmes that were served for selection at the same time on a given day, most were hard-pressed to pick from amongst the programmes available. The general consensus was that there was simply not enough time to enjoy all of the events.

In light of such overwhelming demand, the organisers of this sell-out event will be extending the WGS to a two-week gourmet festival, where guests will be able to partake in a fortnight of gastronomical thrills from the 30 March to 12 April 2003. With each week, the Summit will bring together mesmerising Masterchefs, winning wineries and rapturous restaurants in a schedule of events that promises an intoxicating mix of epicurean pleasures, truly affording an indulgence for the guests of WGS 2003.
